America
The world is turning upside down
As the powers that be run amuck
But we have our power
To fight the corrupt.
The power of sight and sound
To see the welfare state
As it really is.

No matter what lens you use,
You will see this is a statement,
Or a state that’s meant to be.
The truth can be found unconditionally
If you only reach out to seek it
You must see the devolution and
And the fact that the masses are hypnotized
By the reality that they feed you.

CNN and Fox news is faux news
And to them all news is good news
In their world of cellophane wrapped packages
Of MTV and reality shows masking the truth
By blindsiding us with the melodrama of pop culture

But lurking beneath the surface for transparency
Poke a whole in it to tell the truth and shame the devil
With the reality of millions of people dying in the streets
That they once called homes.
